LIZ and MUSIC
My name is Liz and I have been playing the guitar and singing for a couple of years now. I live in Plymouth in the UK.
I first started playing guitar one very special Christmas when my Dad, Ken had bought me a nylon stringed guitar. I was lucky to have him as my Dad as just a little time around him made musical inspiration rub off on anyone spending time with him.
He taught me the basics of what I needed to know and I developed skills from then on, figuring out songs by listening to each chord, learning more complicated chords, playing them, and so on.
At the next Christmas I struck two birds with one stone as my very supportive father had given me a blue electric guitar and Carlsboro amplifier and a dark blue electric acoustic vintage VEC500bl..... gold had struck, as this gave me the opportunity to practice on something more 'professional'. I practised a variety of different styles of songs, of genres, old and the latest, fast and slow rhythmed, heavy and subtle.
Influences include bands such as: Oasis, Feeder, Avril Lavigne, Coldplay, Led Zeppelin, Arctic Monkeys.......
